Latest Rutgers Scholarship Recipient

Dear Ken Carlson, Jr. Memorial Foundation, Inc.,

Thank you for your continued commitment to our Scarlet Knight student-athletes!

As a Rutgers Athletics scholarship supporter, you are vital to the success of our athletic programs. Your generosity provides countless opportunities for our Scarlet Knights to grow and excel in the classroom, in competition, and as leaders in the community, as they strive to ring the bells of Old Queens.

Scholarships continue to be one of Rutgers Athletics’ largest recurring annual expense. As the cost of higher education continues to increase nationwide, it becomes even more critical to privately fund our full scholarship bill. We continue to rely on private contributions from generous supporters, like you, who allow us to remain competitive among our Big Ten peers and nationally.

I am pleased to share that this year, The Kenneth W. Carlson, Jr. Memorial Endowed Athletic Scholarship is supporting:

                                                                             Football

                                                                     Christopher Long

You should expect to hear directly from the student throughout the academic year. We encourage you to visit www.scarletknights.com so you can stay up to date on our programs and their continued success. If you have questions or need any additional information about your scholarship, please contact Nicole Necci, by email

(nnecci@scarletknights.com) or phone (848-932-2292)

Thank you again for your generosity and go RU!

With appreciation,
